FOLSOM TOY RIDE!!

Starting this year, Harley-Davidson of Folsom will be supporting our very own inaugural toy ride that will benefit local kids that are stuck in unfortunate economic circumstances or have been separated from their parent(s) due to conditions of their home. We have supported many toy runs in the past, but watching the toys get transported out of the area has always been the end result. No we are 100% certain that the toys we collect and deliver will stay in our immediate local area, and benefit those children that are close to us in our community.

Making this all possible, and leading our ride will be SANTA (Todd from the Black Sheep), Kevin from One Ray of Hope Productions, Anthoney & Melanie from Allstate Insurance Folsom, Vic, Len and Matt Guidera from Harley-Davidson of Folsom, and the Powerhouse Ministries childrens shelter in Folsom.

The event will begin at 9:30 am at the Harley-Davidson of Folsom dealership, with kickstands up by 10:30 for a approx. 20 mile ride that will rumble it's way through Folsom and stop for delivery of toys to the shelter. After all toys have been delivered, the group will head back to Folsom Harley for a BBQ lunch, a cool Harley-Davidson raffle for all participants, and there is NO COST to ride, just bring an unwrapped toy for a child!  Also, Jaime Tofoya of Red Barn Films, a local independant film company, will be shooting a nifty little short film about the event and the people that come together to make Christmas time a time of giving to young ones that will appreciate it most. Please feel free to stop and say hi to Jaime and his crew and put your feelings in the film about how the biker community comes together every Xmas to help others or just to smile and say hi!!

IF YOU CAN'T MAKE THE EVENT BUT WANT TO PARTICIPATE:
Starting today there is a collection bin at the Motorclothes counter at Harley-Davidson of Folsom. For every unwrapped toy you bring in you will receive an entry into the Toy Ride raffle (do not need to be present to win) ALSO, your will receive 10% off your purchase of H-D licensed Motorclothes products and collectibles that day (*some restrictions apply, excludes already discounted merchandise, ask staff for more details)

No bike?  Run, walk, drive, or crawl…but join us for the fun! 

It is that time again!  The Black Widows, Inc. is holding its 15th Annual Poker Run and is seeking your support.  The proceeds from ride tickets and sponsorships will benefit the Shriners Hospital for Children of Northern California, Sacramento.  The proceeds benefit the Hospital to help provide additional funds not forecast in their annual budget for the children and their families to receive world class care at our hospital in Sacramento.

The gift of free medical care is made possible by the generosity of people like you!

In addition to offering hope to injured and afflicted children and their families, your donation is completely tax deductible.  To purchase a ride ticket or become a sponsor, please register on our Sign Up page or print the downloadable registration form and send a check or money order to our office by September 20, 2011.
